The exhibition in the Saltworks Castle at 8 Zamkowa Street..

Facilities:

The Castle is approached by an urban pavement made of concrete slabs and cobblestones. In front of the main gate of the Castle there is a pedestrian crossing with lowered kerbs, but without traffic lights. The area around the Castle is paved with cobblestones. There is a steep slope in some places. The castle does not have its own parking spaces. Benches for resting are prepared in the courtyard. There is also a tactile path leading to the most important places - the entrances, the tower, the exploration shaft and a bronze model of the Castle with descriptions in Braille available to all visitors. The ticket office is located inside the North Castle. There is a cloakroom next to the ticket office. The historic tower and the search shaft are also open to visitors during the spring/summer season. Both are accessible by stairs.

The castle complex consists of three historic buildings: the Central Castle, the North Castle and the South Castle. The exhibitions in the Central and North Castles are open to visitors. It is possible to enter the buildings and the courtyard with an assistance dog. The Central Castle is a listed building, currently unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility problems. The exhibitions are located on 3 floors, accessed by stairs. The visitors' toilet is located in the castle basement.It is not adapted for people with disabilities. There is a cloakroom next to it. Due to the nature of the exhibition, some of the museum rooms are semi-dark. The exhibits are placed in display cabinets.Information on the layout of the rooms is provided at least visually and verbally - information boards, staff person.

The North Castle-is a historic building after general renovation.Exhibitions are located on the ground floor of the building and on the first floor.The education rooms are located on level -1. The exhibitions on the first floor and level -1 are accessible by lift.Floor platforms have also been installed on the ground floor to allow visitors in wheelchairs.Toilets for visitors, including a toilet for people with disabilities, are located at level -1. Information on the layout of the rooms is provided, at least visually and verbally - information boards, a member of staff.

Facilities:

The museum exhibition is accessed by a mine lift in the Regis shaft or the Daniłowicz shaft. Appropriate width of passageways is maintained - free of horizontal and vertical barriers.There are no thresholds.Information on the layout of the mine premises is provided at least visually and verbally - information boards, a guide.There is also one toilet adapted for people with disabilities.It is also possible to borrow a wheelchair for the duration of the tour.Due to the nature of the mine, the museum chambers are semi-dark.

The building is currently undergoing renovation. The entrance to the building is from two sides.Stairs lead to both entrances.The corridors have adequate circulation width.There are stairs leading to the first floor. There is no lift or platforms. There is no disabled accessible toilet. There is a gravelled car park underneath the building, but no designated spaces for people with disabilities. Information on the layout of the building is provided, at least visually and verbally - information boards, porter. The Cracow Saltworks Museum Wieliczka at 6 Park Kingi Street - studios. Facilities: The entrance to the building is from two sides.A code is installed at the door to secure the entrance for unauthorised persons.There are stairs leading to both entrances.There are no disabled accessible toilets.It is possible to enter the building with an assistance dog.Information on the layout of the building is provided, at least visually and verbally - notice boards, employee.

Additional information:
In all places belonging to the Cracow Saltworks Museum in Wieliczka, the possibility of evacuation or their rescue by other means is provided for persons with special needs - audible announcements, marking of evacuation routes, training and instructions for functionaries on fire protection and evacuation rules. There is an evacuation mattress in the Central Castle. Major renovation work is currently underway on the historic building at 12 Daniłowicza Street, incorporating changes for the benefit of architectural accessibility.
